Magee history
This is a list of the descendants of John Magee and Susanna Cook, who migrated to Canada sometime in the 1820s and eventually ended up in Two Rivers, Wisconsin. Their descendants mostly live in Shawano, Oconto and Manitowoc counties in Wisconsin, specifically in the towns of Shawano, Angelica, Two Rivers and Oconto Falls. The families seem to have moved to Wisconsin in the 1850s. Much of this information has been gathered from other web sites, transcriptions of old documents posted online, and census reports. Other information is what I know from personal family history and documents we have in my family. I can’t guarantee that everything is correct, and I still have many gaps. I can guarantee that everything is recorded as I found it, except for things I changed when I was convinced they were wrong. In instances where I have additional information on someone, I have posted it on a separate page linked to their name. Just click on the link and you can go to that page. I will update this information when I get it. The information on the descendants of Hugh Magee is taken from information given out at the family reunion in 1990 and updated where I was able. I now have information on many other families that married into the family. I am making a book out of this but haven’t had the time to add it to this site, so I do have more information that is on here. It will probably make it here someday.

Explanation of how I set this up: I used a system of numbers for each generation, beginning at 1 with the furthest back I have been able to trace the family and increasing from there. Spouses are listed below the person they married, and if I know the parents of that spouse, they are listed above the spouse, which is a little confusing, but the best way I can think of to do it. Children are listed below their parents, with a number indicating the next generation.
