Curtis Magee, 81, Adams Street, Bonduel, died Monday, Nov. 1, at home.

He was born July 18, 1923, in Green Bay, to the late Hugh B. and Irene (Thompson) Magee. Curt graduated from Pulaski High School. He farmed and was a cheesemaker in the town of Angelica. Curt married Orriene Berg March 2, 1946, in Seymour. The couple lived in the town of Angelica until they moved to Bonduel 14 years ago. Curt sold feed for Purina for eight years and he started Magee Feeds in Pulaski and Zachow. In 1973 Curt and family bought the feed mill in Embarrass. Curt retired in 1997 due to his failing health. Curt was an avid harness race horse enthusiast and he owned several horses. His favorite was "Curts First," one that he raised. He was a lifetime member of Angelica United Methodist Church and former president of Resthaven Cemetery Association.

Survivors include his wife, Orriene; five sons, Darryl (Pat) Magee, Sandwich, Ill.; Keith (Sandy) Magee, Oconto; Dave (Cathy Jo) Magee, Big Rock, Ill.; Kevin (Kathy) Magee, Clintonville; and Dean Magee, Brookfield; 14 grandchildren, Christopher, Cody, Matt, Lindsey, Ross, Jess, Emily, Erica, Rick, Rob, Kimberly, Alexis and Taylor; one brother and sister-in-law, Elwood and Elva Magee, Shawano; and one sister Joyce Scheider, Shawano.

He was preceded in death by one grandson, Anthony Hugh Magee and one brother-in-law, Bill Scheider.

The funeral service will be Thursday, Nov. 4, at 11 a.m. at Angelica United Methodist Church with Pastor Loretta Waegli officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Cemetery. Friends may call at Wendt Funeral Home, Bonduel, Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. and at the church on Thursday from 10 a.m. to the time of service.
