    Mr. and Mrs. Forrest Magee, 526 N. Sampson St., observed their 60th wedding anniversary at a family dinner Saturday at their home.
    The couple was married Jan. 30, 1905, at Gillett. Mr. Magee continues his self-employment as a landscaper.
    Mr. and Mrs. Magee have one daughter, Mrs. Marvin Johnson, Shawano, and a grandson, Reid M. Johnson, Appleton.

De Forrest Magee, 526 N. Sampson St.
    Age 79, passed away at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday after a short illness.
    He was born February 10, 1886 in Angelica, Wis., and had been a resident of Appleton for the past 40 years. He was a landscape
gardener by profession prior to his retirement 1 year ago. He was a member of the First Methodist Church and last January he and Mrs. Magee celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. Mr. Magee is survived by his wife; one daughter, Mrs. Marvin Johnson, Shawano; one brother, Robert, Rose Lawn, Wis.; 1 grandson, Reid M. Johnson. Funeral arrangements are incomplete and pending at the Brettschneider-Trettin Funeral Home.

    Funeral services for Mr. Magee will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Brettschneider-Trettin Funeral Home with Rev. Marvin Schilling officiating. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Thursday.

    Forest Magee was born and raised in Shawano County near Angelica.
    He leaves his wife and one daughter, Mrs. Marvin Johnson. Also one grandson – Reid Johnson.
