Ellis M. Lutsey, 68, of 723 W. 17th Ave., died Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at Mercy Medical Center where he had been a patient eight days.

He was born in the Town of Angelica, Shawano County, on Aug. 28, 1901, and for 40 years operated the Monument Square barber shop. Mr. Lutsey was a member of St. Peter Catholic church and member of its Ushers Club.

Surviving are his widow, Edna; one stepson, Dr. G. D. Purchatzke, Chicago, and one brother, Percy Lutsey, Antigo.

Services will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at St. Peter Catholic Church with the Rev. Robert Colle officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.

Friends may call at Fiss & Bills funeral home Sunday from 4-9 p.m. Prayer service Sunday will be at 7:30 p.m.
