George Meral Lutsey
George M. Lutsey, 68, of 124 Spruce St., died Sunday at 8:30 a.m. at Mercy Hospital, where he had been taken following a heart attack at his home Saturday afternoon.

He was born in Angelica, Wis., on Sept. 1, 1887, and was married in Shawano to Miss Erna Kurtz on Sept. 8, 1912. He had resided in Oshkosh for the past 12 years.

Mr. Lutsey was employed by the Larsen Cooperative until one and one-half years ago when he retired. Prior to that he had been a cheesemaker, owning and operating cheese factories at Freedom and Larsen. He was a member of Algoma Boulevard Methodist Church.

Surviving are his wife, Erna; one son, Keith Lutsey, Winchester; two brothers, Ellis Lutsey, Oshkosh, and Percy Lutsey, Antigo; one sister, Mrs. Mabel Berg, Cecil, Wis; two granddaughters and a number of nieces and nephews.

Services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Fiss & Bills Funeral Home, with the Rev. George I. Jordan, pastor of Algoma Boulevard Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from Tuesday at 3 p.m. until the hour of services.
