Below is the obituary for James P. Magee from the Jan. 1, 1980 Shawano Evening Leader: James P. Magee, 80, Rt. 1, Pulaski, died early Tuesday morning at Shawano.
He was born April 22, 1899, in the town of Angelica to the late Hugh
and Elizabeth Magee. He farmed all of his life in the Township of
Angelica and the last two years he has lived at a Shawano nursing home.
He was married in June of 1923 to the former Anna Boerst who preceded
him in death in August of 1979. Survivors include
two sisters, Mrs. Pearl Zernicke, Fond du Lac; and Mrs. Mae Terrian,
Pulaski; three brothers, Hugh Magee, Shawano; Kenneth, Bonduel and
Robert, Pulaski. He was preceded in death by two brothers and one
sister. The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday
at the Wendt Funeral Home, Bonduel with the Rev. Lidia Goehring,
officiating. Burial will be in the Rest Haven Cemetery in Angelica.
Friends may call at the Wendt Funeral Home, Bonduel after 4 p.m. until
services on Thursday.
