J. Kenneth Lutsey
J. Kenneth Lutsey, 84, died at a local nursing home, Sunday, Oct. 24, 2004. The son of Jay and Nellie (Hansen) Lutsey was born Nov. 19, 1919. He married Ceil Reimer on June 13, 1942. Ken was a member of the Men's Brotherhood of St. Paul's United Methodist Church. He was a charter member of the Association for Retarded Citizens and was one of the original Boy Scout leaders of retarded boys. Ken was one of three partners of the Ace Cone Co. ? founded in Green Bay in 1948. Due to health complications, he left the partnership in 1977. Ken suffered a stroke in Sept. 1998 but fought back to regain his health to be able to enjoy his family.

Survivors include his wife, Ceil; three daughters and their husbands, Mary and Lawrence Teofilo, Ellen Lutsey, Ann and Dick Knedle; a daughter-in-law, Jean Lutsey, all of Green Bay; five grandchildren, Suzan (Glen) Sherman, Steve (Kris) Teofilo, Paul Vergiels, Jon Lutsey, Dan Lutsey; two great-grandchildren, Renell and Casey Sherman.

He was preceded in death by his son, K.C.; his parents; two brothers, Bob and Tom; and a sister, Ruth Koeller.

Friends may call at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday. Friends may also call at St. Paul's United Methodist Church, 341 Wilson Ave., from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday. The Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church with the Rev. Ray Kotwicki officiating. Burial will be in Saints Edward and Isidore Cemetery, Flintville.

The Lutsey family extends a special thank you to Bornemann Nursing Home and Unity Hospice for their dedicated care of Kenneth and especially to his long time caregivers, Judy, Maxine and Lois.

In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, a memorial fund has been established for Aspiro (formerly BARC).
