Below is Elizabeth Blichfeldt’s obituary from the Green Bay Press-Gazette:
    Bonduel, Wis. - Mrs. Hugh Magee Sr., 72, died Friday in a New London hospital after an illness of two years. She had a leg amputated several years ago and had been in failing health since then.
    The former Elizabeth Blickfeldt, she was born Jan. 18, 1875 at Laney, town of Maple Grove, a daughter of the late Peter Blickfeldts. She was married July 1, 1891, and since then had lived on a farm in the town of Angelica. A lifelong member of the Angelica Methodist church, she was Sunday school superintendent
for many years, served as secretary and treasurer of the Ladies Aid society and active in other church work.
    Survivors are her husband; three daughters, Mrs. Leonard (Pearl) Zernicke, New London, Mrs. Earl (May) Terrian, Green Bay, and Mrs. William (Catherine) Runge, New London; five sons, James, Hugh Jr., William, Kenneth and Robert, all of Angelica; 13 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Three children preceded her in death.
    Funeral services will be held at 2 o’clock Monday afternoon at the farm home and at 2:30 in the Angelica Methodist church with the Rev. Joseph Cheek, Seymour, officiating. Burial will be in the Magee cemetery in the town of Angelica. The body will be taken to the residence this afternoon from the Wendt funeral home, Angelica. Grandsons will be pallbearers at the funeral rites.

Mrs. H. Magee, Sr., dies Friday a.m.
    Funeral services for Mrs. Hugh Magee, sr., who died at 6:30 a.m. Friday, July 11 in New London after being ill the past two years, will be held Monday afternoon, July 14 at two o’clock in the Magee residence, town of Angelica. The Rev. Joseph Cheek will officiate and interment will be in the church cemetery.
    Mrs. Magee, nee Elizabeth Blickfeldt, was born January 18, 1875, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Blickfeldt at Laney. Her marriage to Hugh Magee, Sr., was solemnized July 1, 1891. After marriage they lived in the town of Maple Grove a short time before moving to a farm in the town of Angelica where they have resided since that time.
    Mrs. Magee has been a life member of the Methodist church where she served as Sunday shcool superintendent many years, was secretary and treasurer of the Ladies Aid and was active in all church work.
    Survivors are her husband, five sons, James, Hugh, Jr., Bill, Kenneth and Robert, town of Angelica, three daughters, Pearl, Mrs. Leonard Zernicke, New London, Mae, Mrs. Earl Terrian, Green Bay and Catherine, Mrs. Bill Runge, New London. There are 13 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Three children preceded their mother in death.
    Six grandsons will serve as pallbearers. They are Elwood, Curtis, Marshall and Wallace Magee and Calvin and Douglas Zernicke.
The body will be taken from the Wendt funeral home, Bonduel this afternoon to the Magee residence where it will be in state until the time of service Monday.
