Below is Marvin L. Johnson’s obituary: Marvin L. Johnson 929 E. Fifth St., Shawano
Age 70. Died Wednesday evening in Shawano. He was born July 27, 1905 in
Laney, Wisconsin. Mr. Johnson was a retired cheesemaker. He married
Elizabeth Magee November 3, 1926 in Appleton. Survivors include his
wife Elizabeth; a son, Ried, Appleton; two sisters, Mrs. Charles
(Katherine) Vander Hoek, Pelican Lake; and Mrs. Phillip (Marcella)
Kohl, Marshfield; three brothers, Oliver, Charles and Walter Johnson,
all of Marshfield; and three grandchildren. The funeral will be at 11
a.m. Saturday at Karth-Kopitzke Funeral Home, Shawano with the Rev.
Lynn Kollath officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
