From a June 3, 1920 Shawano County paper:
Wm. John McKenna died a week ago Sunday night at Casco, a little town east of Green Bay. He was born and brought up in Angelica and his body was brought back there for burial. He was the last member of the family of James McKenna and by his death that family is wiped out although the name will live on as he leaves two boys and three girls. At the death of his father, the farm in Angelica was left to John. He ran the place until failing health overtook him and he went to Casco and bought a store having traded in the farm. The store is in a good location and is a splendid piece of property. the business will be carried on by the boys. The funeral at Angelica was one of the largest ever held in that town. The cause of Mr. McKenna’s death was tuberculosis.
