Leonard C. F. Zernicke, 75, of 127 N. Bell St., died at 9:30 p.m. Thursday at St. Agnes Hospital.

He was born in Zachow, Wis., on Dec. 8, 1894, a son of Martin and Louise Genske Zernicke. He married Pearl Magee on June 20, 1915, at Angelica, Wis.

Mr. Zernicke was a member of Division Street United Methodist Church, Masonic Lodge 140, Darling Chapter 20, Commandery 5 and Zor Temple Shrine of Madison. He was employed by Klaetsch Sporting Goods.

Survivors include his widow; two sons, Calvin Zernicke of Neenah and Douglas Zernicke of Colorado Springs, Colo.; one daughter, Mrs. Leslie Klaetsch of the city; six grandchildren; and three sisters, Mrs. Lydia Ebert and Mrs. Esther Specht, both of Bonduel, and Mrs. Ella Morrow of Shawano.

He was preceded in death by two sisters and three brothers.

Funeral arrangements are pending at Wendt Funeral Home in Bonduel.
